Anti-Spam & Email Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Affinaut sends email on a permission basis only. This policy explains how we build lists, what we send, how we honour unsubscribes, and how we handle bounces and complaints — in line with the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR/ePrivacy and the acceptable-use rules of our email provider (Amazon SES).

1. Permission & consent

We only email people who have a relationship with us or who opted in — for example, by creating an account, purchasing, or subscribing. We do not buy, rent, scrape or use third-party email lists.

2. Types of email we send

  • Transactional — account, security, billing and service notifications related to your use of Affinaut.
  • Marketing — product news and offers, sent only to recipients who have not opted out.

3. Sender identity

Our emails clearly identify Affinaut as the sender, use accurate “From”, “Reply-To” and subject lines, and include our valid postal address: [your registered business address]. We authenticate our mail with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

4. Unsubscribe

Every marketing email includes a clear, working unsubscribe link. Opt-out requests are honoured promptly (and in any case within the timeframe required by law). You can also unsubscribe by emailing support@affinaut.com. Transactional messages essential to your account may still be sent.

5. Bounces & complaints

We monitor bounce and complaint rates and maintain a suppression list. Addresses that hard-bounce or generate a spam complaint are automatically suppressed and not contacted again. This keeps our sending healthy and protects recipients.

6. Prohibited practices

  • Sending to purchased, rented, harvested or non-consented lists.
  • Misleading headers, subject lines or sender information.
  • Omitting an unsubscribe mechanism or ignoring opt-outs.
  • Any sending that violates the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR/ePrivacy, or the Amazon SES / AWS Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Email sent by network operators

Network operators (tenants) can run their own campaigns through Affinaut. When they do, they are responsible for having a lawful basis and consent to contact their recipients, for including valid unsubscribe handling, and for complying with this policy and applicable law. We provide suppression and rate controls, and we may suspend sending that generates excessive bounces or complaints.

8. Report email abuse

To report spam or abuse involving our email, contact support@affinaut.com with “Email Abuse” in the subject line. We investigate all reports.
