1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, password (hashed), company name and contact details you provide when you sign up.
- Billing data — your plan, billing email, country and tax/VAT information. We do not store full card numbers or crypto wallet keys; these are handled by our payment providers (see §3).
- Usage & tracking data — log data, IP address, device/browser information, and the activity generated while operating your network on the platform.
- Communications — messages you send us for support, sales or feedback.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Affinaut service and your tenant network.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions and send billing notifications.
- To secure the platform, detect fraud and abuse, and enforce our policies.
- To respond to support requests and send important service and legal notices.
- To improve our product and, where permitted, send relevant updates (you can opt out anytime).
3. Payments & payment processors
We use third-party payment providers and do not process or store your raw payment credentials ourselves:
- Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record for card and similar payments. When you pay, Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy).
- Binance Pay processes cryptocurrency payments under Binance’s privacy and compliance policies. Wallet and transaction data you provide during checkout is handled by Binance.
These providers share with us only the limited data we need to confirm and manage your purchase (e.g., order status, billing country, last digits/reference).
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Payment providers may set their own cookies during checkout.
5. Sharing & sub-processors
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the platform, under contract and confidentiality, including:
- Payment processing — Paddle, Binance Pay.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure.
- Transactional email and customer-support tooling.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After closure we retain limited records to meet legal, tax, accounting and anti-fraud obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and isolated per-tenant databases. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
8. International data transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See our GDPR & Data Protection page for more.
9. Your rights

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of Affinaut after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
